Who is VON GLASS?
After eleven years working at full capacity six days a week for 10-12 hours a day, I am often found with a strong green tea in my hand. As a freelancer/contractor, my skills have taken me to many corners of the globe working across sports, reality, news, documentary, live events, brand funded entertainment, lifestyle and TVC / Online advertising for domestic and international audiences.
I have produced and directed everything from documentaries to branded content, from music clips to TV shows. Whether I am motivating wannabe singers in a comfy studio on a prime time TV show or out with my camera in malaria endemic Sulawesi refugee camp for a low-budget SBS documentary, my passion is visual storytelling. I have credits across most of the highest rating TV shows in Australia and won an AATCA award for a documentary that was internationally distributed and sold by myself.
I believe stories connect people, and I can connect people to brands, causes and ideas. With a background in both long and short form documentary making and a significant portion of reality TV and Advertising, I know how to turn any subject into an interesting piece that everyone wants to watch. My latest projects and stories include Where it All Began for SBS, an online mini-documentary for Young Henry's Brewery brought to you by Westpac, a series of mini-profiles for Qantas Assure, a powerful cinematic piece for Qantas and Old Spice's Mansong and Mumsong which won awards both domestically and internationally and received over 5 million views on Youtube.
